Originally a McLaren factory demo car, this rare gem of a 650S Spider was first registered in September 2014. Built to a 2015 model year (MY 2015), the specification is incredible.

During McLaren ownership, the original five spoke diamond cut wheels were replaced or painted silver, possibly in preparation for sale.

The car entered the main dealer network through McLaren Glasgow where it was sold to its first ‘human’ keeper (name unknown), who kept it until 2016. Not much is known about the period 2015 – 2016, except that it possibly resided in the South West of England or Wales due to it being serviced by McLaren Bristol?

The car was purchased by in March 2016 by a McLaren enthusiast – previously had MP4-12C. The car was purchased via the trusted McLaren specialist Alastair Bols. The car resided in the Southampton area.

Shortly after purchase, the five spoke wheels were upgraded, replaced with OE ten spoke wheels in gloss black. A Smart-top remote controller was also fitted. The same ten spoke wheels and remote controller remain fitted to the car in 2026. As of 2026, the third owner still retains the original five spoke wheels.

In 2016, the third owner collaborated with the popular YouTuber Petrol Ped during a Wilton House car event. For a detailed review of the actual car, visit the Petrol Ped YouTube channel > https://youtu.be/BuB0hpokMUw?si=t65aLhcEwtxMomzt

Purchased in 2022 from Hills Prestige. The car resided in the Hull area. As evidenced by invoices and stamps in the service booklet, maintenance and servicing continued with Thorney Motorsport during 2023 and 2024, thereafter, changing to the more local and northern based Jack Webb Motorsport (JWM) in 2025.

During ownership, the ten spoke wheels were refinished in Anthracite.
5th Owner – Known

Advertised privately through a McLaren social media group, the car was subsequently purchased by a McLaren enthusiast, who had previously owned two 720S. The car was known through a McLaren Owners Club event that the fifth owner had previously attended. Already knowing of the impressive specification and history, he grasped the opportunity and quickly acquired the car.

The car now resides in the North East Lincolnshire area, still remaining with JWM as the trusted McLaren independent specialist for servicing and maintenance.

The wheels have been refinished in OE silver,as well as the replacement and refurbishment of various items. The plan is to visually return the car to as near as possible to original build specification, but retaining the upgraded OE wheels and remote controller.
